A north Queensland woman has been jailed for five and a half years for driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, killing a man near Mackay. Amy Ellen Ford, 25, was sentenced in the Mackay District Court on Monday over the 2023 crash that killed 35-year-old Jamie Winn, who was riding his motorbike to work. She pleaded guilty to one count of dangerous operation of a vehicle, causing death.
