    The Conway City Council has approved a memorandum of understanding with an unnamed Fortune 100 company to build a $1 billion, 300,000-SF data center on the city’s southwest side. The data center would represent the largest capital investment in Conway’s history, according to Jamie Gates, executive vice president of the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce/Conway Development Corp. “This project is at a historic scale for us,” he said.

    Little Rock restaurant Red Door is closing April 1 for “extensive” renovations, with plans to reopen in early 2026, owner Remolinos Group LLC announced Tuesday. A spokesperson for Remolinos Group said the restaurant will undergo “a series of thoughtful changes” with the goal of elevating the overall dining experience. “All areas of the property will be refreshed to improve the atmosphere for dining and events alike,” the spokesperson said. Red Door’s menu will be updated, as well.

    Insurance agencies The River Co. of Heber Springs and Rogers Insurance Agency Inc. of Rogers are merging in a deal that would create one of the largest insurance firms in the state by employee count. Company leaders told Arkansas Business that the combined entity, which will be known as ANKR, will have expanded capabilities, more than 80 employees and be licensed to operate in more than 40 states. The integration is expected to be completed by 2026.

    William Miller resigned as CFO of Envirotech Vehicles Inc. of Osceola (Nasdaq: EVTV) on Jan. 20 after holding the role for less than a month, extending the company’s cycle of frequent turnover at the position. The company reported Miller’s resignation in an SEC filing. No reason was given for his departure. Miller did not immediately respond to requests for comment Monday morning. Jason Maddox, president of Envirotech, was named interim CFO.
