The retail giant highlighted the impact of warmer spring weather as full-price sales increased by 11.4% in the 13 weeks to April 26, compared with forecast growth of 6.5% and £55m ahead of expectations. The £55m of additional sales informed the company’s decision to revise up its profit guidance. However, Next did not raise its sales guidance for quarter two or for the rest of the year.
