NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The Saints will have a new starting quarterback in 2025. The question is... who will it be? Tyler Shough or Spencer Rattler? That answer will come much later, but both players have made big strides this offseason. As the Saints close the book on OTAs, their competition at quarterback is heating up. “I think their mental capacity, their ability to communicate, has been at a really high level, and I’ve been really appreciative of that,” said Saints head coach Kellen Moore.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Take One: Shough’s arm talent on full displaySaints quarterback Tyler Shough displayed the traits that attracted him to the Saints in the draft. The rookie’s arm talent was on full display very early in the Saints latest OTA practice. Shough opened 7-on-7 with a 60-yard bomb to Bub Means for a touchdown. He did it again later in practice with a 60+ yard connection to Donovan Peoples-Jones. On both throws, Shough showed the effortless flick of the wrist to get the ball downfield.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Take One: Rattler vs ShoughLet the quarterback competition begin. Spencer Rattler and Tyler Shough both looked good in the first OTA we were able to watch. Both quarterbacks have rotated all week as the starter. On Thursday, it was Rattler’s turn. Both he and Shough shined in the most competitive period of the practice. During 7on7’s, Rattler was perfect. The ball didn’t touch the ground at all as he went 8/8. His best throws came on back-to-back plays.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - It’s Thursday afternoon, and Adam Sivia is right where he feels most at home: the gym. He’s locked in, training on the bench press, part of his regular routine. At first glance, Sivia could be any other member of the Westbank Athletic Club, where fitness is a way of life. But it’s when he gets off the bench that he stands out most. For him, standing doesn’t look like it does for most people. That’s life as a double bilateral above-knee amputee. Sivia wasn’t always like this.

2nd inning was the difference. Opposing aces seem to fall apart against Tigers lately. Anderson was fantastic. Nice start to Omaha for LSU.

Wow pulling him already !!

Didn’t film the 2nd 7v 7 Rattler had a nice throw to Valladay on a wheel but was then picked off by Jonas Sanker Shough went deep to Dixon but he couldn’t get his feet down
