Florence Schnydrig Moser has been elected by the bank council at Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB) as deputy chairwoman of the board, effective 1 July 2026. Moser will succeed Stephanino Isele, who is to step down after more than ten years on the board. In this planned succession, Isele will relinquish his duties as head of the institutionals and multinationals business unit and as deputy chairman of the executive board due to age-related reasons.

The Zug government council elected Martin Kühn and Roger Wermuth to the board of directors of Zuger Kantonalbank at its meeting yesterday. The two appointees will succeed Sabina Ann Balmer and Patrik Wettstein, who will not be seeking re-election. Kühn is the current chief financial officer of the Kibag Group, a position he has held for more than 15 years. EFG International has announced plans to acquire 100% of Swiss private bank Cité Gestion, which manages CHF 7.5bn in assets, pending regulatory approval. The acquisition comes as global banking group EFG reported a net profit of CHF 321.6m in 2024, a 6% increase from the previous year. Net new assets totalled CHF 10.1bn, with a 7.1% growth rate, exceeding targets. Assets under management grew to CHF 165.5bn, a 16% increase from 2023.
