Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský is sceptical about Russia's approach to ceasefire talks. As reported by Radio Prague International, European Pravda reports,Lipavský said at the end of a two-day meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels that Russia had failed to fulfil even the most elementary and simple things, such as a ceasefire on energy facilities. He said that the criticism from some European countries should not be surprising, as it more or less reflects the Czech point of view.

Germany has been financing Ukraine’s access to a satellite internet network operated by the French company Eutelsat, which serves as an alternative to Elon Musk’s Starlink terminals. As reported by Reuters, Eutelsat CEO Eva Berneke stated that Eutelsat has been providing high-speed satellite internet services in Ukraine for about a year through a German distributor, with the funding coming from the German government.

The Norwegian government discussed and approved an increase in assistance to Ukraine by NOK 50 billion (US$4.6 billion) for 2025, bringing the total to NOK 85 billion (US$7.8 billion), during a meeting on 4 April. As reported by Norwegian public broadcaster NRK, Norway's Finance Minister Jens Stoltenberg noted that the Norwegian government has approved a support package totalling NOK 50 billion in addition to the previous NOK 35 billion aid.
