I will always remember the times walking around the backyard of my family friend’s house for their fall Sukkot party, and the sight of the sukkah around back adorned with branches and dried fall leaves. It was always such a symbolic wilderness shelter, where all family and friends would gather inside, pass through, eat, talk, with sounds of the local neighborhood band acoustics strumming in the background. This is a time of year to appreciate community and togetherness. We need more of that.

The link between enjoying green spaces and better health seems to stem from the mere fact of increased exercise if you are outdoors.
