Two people are dead from an apparent murder-suicide after a domestic violence call in Knox County led to an exchange of gunfire between the suspect and a sheriff's deputy and a four-hour standoff. According to a news release, Knox County Sheriff’s deputies responded at 1:21 a.m. June 5 to an “open 911 call” at a manufactured home at 10180 Busenburg Road in Butler Township, located less than a mile southeast of Zuck and less than four miles southeast of Millwood.

A 19-year-old man, Makhi McMillan, was shot by Gahanna police after threatening his grandmother with a knife during a mental health crisis. Police responded to a 911 call reporting McMillan's suicidal statements and threats towards family members. Bodycam footage shows officers repeatedly commanding McMillan to drop the knife before shots were fired.

Marysville police have released body camera footage of a 29-year-old man who shot at officers who responded to a report of a domestic dispute and then crashed his vehicle into an occupied police cruiser and several neighbors' vehicles while fleeing. Dustin Ohm, 29, has been charged with attempted aggravated murder for shooting at several Marysville police officers who responded May 30 to his home in the 900 block of White Oak Court.
