Four thousand walkers hoped to raise more than one million dollars to fight food insecurity. Nicoletta Giardina is the head of the First Congregational Church of Revere Food Pantry and she led a team of volunteers in the Walk for Hunger.

    Can Harvard use its endowment to escape financial storm clouds? At more than $50 billion, Harvard's is the largest academic endowment in the world. But Evan Howowitz of the Center for State Policy Analysis at Tufts University says it still won't be easy for the school to offset the loss of roughly $2 billion in federal funds frozen by the Trump administration.
