Thousands of customers experienced power outages Wednesday after severe storms swept through the Westbank. As of Thursday afternoon at 3 p.m., more than 700 Entergy customers remained without power as crews continue to survey damage to utility poles.

Over 100 people have been arrested in multi-agency operations focused on removing criminals, illegal narcotics and firearms from the streets. A New Orleans family is trying every avenue to track down a dock worker who went missing on the river more than one week ago. We're told 42-year-old Darius Clement was last seen at work on a barge. WDSU reporter Shay O'Connor was at the river with more on the investigation. Veronica Clement, the aunt of Darius Clement, said, "He's a family guy. He loves us. A New Orleans bounce artist and educator is now being recognized in a new way.DJ Jubilee received an honorary doctorate from Xavier University on Sunday. He's best known for his song "Get Ready," an anthem that has people shouting the name of their high school. Outside of the stage, he teaches at West Jefferson High School, so he's still inspiring young minds.
