A lot of companies talk about their commitment to young female talent and fostering diverse leaders. But the reality is a lot of it is just talk. According to the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the percentage of women on boards in the ASX200 was just 36 per cent in February 2023. Across Asia, the figure is closer to 20 per cent. I joined ANZ as a graduate in 2015 and have always felt supported in my career development.
