PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) - One person is dead after an accident involving a crane Friday morning on EVRAZ grounds in Pueblo. The Pueblo Fire Department (PFD), the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office (PCSO), the EVRAZ Fire Department, and the Pueblo Police Department (PPD) were dispatched to a toppled crane at 11:18 a.m. Friday.

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) - Nearly half a dozen juveniles were arrested in Pueblo for reported vehicle thefts across El Paso County and Pueblo County. According to police, one of those kids is connected to a deadly August shooting. The Pueblo Police Department said over the past several months, detectives have been investigating numerous motor vehicle thefts, specifically Kia and Hyundai thefts.

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) - I-25 remains closed in both directions north of Pueblo after a train derailed Sunday afternoon. The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has updated its initial recommendations for drivers. CDOT now recommends that drivers trying to get to Pueblo use Overton Rd. This detour starts at Exit 110. CDOT says this route should be used for local traffic only.

PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) - The Pueblo County Coroner released the name of the driver killed in a train derailment accident above I-25 just north of the Steel City. KRDO13 confirmed Monday afternoon the driver's name is 60-year-old Lafollette Henderson of Compton, Calif. According to the coroner, Henderson died of injuries sustained in Sunday's accident and was pronounced dead on the scene by a Coroner Investigator. An autopsy is scheduled.

PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) - Interstate 25 remains closed in both directions just north of Pueblo following a deadly freight train derailment Sunday afternoon. At 4:22 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, Colorado State Patrol announced a trail had derailed along a bridge over I-25 near milepost 106. The bridge ended up collapsing too. Since then, drivers have been forced to take alternate routes. There is no timeline for when the interstate will reopen.

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) - The man accused of killing a Colorado Community Parole Officer was formally charged Friday morning. Ofc. Christine Guerin Sandoval was killed after she and two other parole officers tried to serve a warrant to parolee Justin Kula on Sept. 28. While trying to detain him, court records state Kula drove out of a Colorado Springs parking lot, hitting other vehicles and Ofc. Guerin Sandoval. She was taken to a hospital where she later died from her injuries.

FREMONT COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) - As of 9 a.m., the Fremont County Sheriff's Office has been meeting with law enforcement partners to determine jurisdiction over a multi-agency investigation surrounding a Penrose funeral home. Wednesday night, there was a large scene of multiple agencies outside of a property online records indicate is called Return to Nature Funeral Home. The website for the funeral home is still active online.
