MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - A Clarke County man owns a horse that’s running in the Kentucky Derby, also known as the most exciting two minutes in sports. Robbie Norman and his horse Coal Battle have a pretty interesting story. The horse is a long shot, but stranger things have happened on the first Saturday in May at Churchill Downs. And even with the odds stacked against him, Norman is betting it all on Coal Battle. Norman went to school to be an accountant. Then, he bought his own grocery stores.
