Temperatures are expected to dip just a bit throughout the rest of the week, but highs are predicted to stay in the mid to upper 80s throughout most of the 10-day forecast leading up to the Fourth of July. The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory through Friday night, as of Tuesday afternoon.

The pint-size pedaler won a participant’s ribbon at last year’s Youth Pedal Pull at the Hancock County 4-H Fair, and this year she was determined to bring home the trophy.

Oklahoma-based TK Pro Rodeo brought its team of competitive ropers and riders to put on a bull riding show Tuesday night, followed by a rodeo Wednesday.
