AbstractThere is limited clinical research investigating the optimal transplantation strategy in early oocyte retrieval cycles. We aimed to assess whether the maturation of oocytes from early oocyte retrieval influenced pregnancy outcomes, and to find the optimal embryo transfer strategy (fresh or frozen-thawed embryo transfers) for patients who had early oocyte retrieval and underwent in vitro maturation (IVM).

The heterogeneity of stem cells is a significant factor inhibiting their clinical application, as different cell subpopulations may exhibit substantial differences in biological functions. We performed single-cell sequencing on HUMSCs from three donors of different gestational ages (22 + 5 weeks, 28 weeks, 39 weeks). We also compared the data with single-cell sequencing data from BMSCs from two public databases.

1 Introduction The prevalence of central nervous system (CNS) abnormalities is 0.14%–0.16% among live births and is as high as 3%–6% among stillbirths (Onkar, Onkar, and Mitra 2014; Sun et al. 2015; Huang et al. 2012). Causes of foetal CNS abnormalities vary. In addition to environmental factors, CNS abnormalities in foetuses are frequently associated with chromosomal aneuploidy, copy number variants (CNVs) and pathogenic sequence variants in developmental genes.

AbstractCesarean section may result in adverse psychosocial and behavioral outcomes because women put considerable emphasis on the process of birth. Virtual reality treatment has been shown by many studies to reduce anxiety and improve patient satisfaction. Therefore, we designed a randomized controlled trial to investigate whether the application of virtual reality technology during cesarean section can reduce maternal anxiety and improve satisfaction.

A cross-sectional study was conducted between June and August 2022 to assess the willingness and attitudes towards the governmental free HPV vaccination among parents of eligible girls. The sample size was determined to be 4000, using PASS 15.0 software (NCSS). A stratified cluster sampling method was utilised, wherein schools with Grade 6 classes were randomly selected from each of the 10 districts in Shenzhen.
