KATSINA: The Katsina state chapter of the Social Democratic Party SDP, has maintained that it would not condone the abuse by any individual or groups forming structures under the party in the state. Bello Adamu Safana, the state Chairman of the party who disclosed this while briefing newsmen in Katsina on Tuesday, said such structures does not conform with the party’s rules and therefore is null and void.

The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC),on Tuesday, raided and sealed five wholesale shops filled with bags of rice in Utako market, in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, for alleged sell of re-bagged and under-weight bags of rice to the consumers. Mrs Boladale Adeyinka, Director, Surveillance and Investigations Department, FCCPC, who led the enforcement team to the market, explained that the raid followed an intelligence gathered by the Commission.
