1 DAMATURU – In a bid to promote educational development in Yobe South, the Senator Bomai Education Trust Fund has presented award letters to 100 successful candidates who will benefit from a fully funded scholarship to pursue their undergraduate and graduate studies abroad. The scholarship award is made up of 30 undergraduate and 70 graduate students from Yobe South who will further their education abroad.

1 DAMATURU – The Management of Federal University Gashua, Yobe State has announced the postponement of its Maiden Combined Convocation Ceremony earlier scheduled for June 27 and 28, 2025. This decision is due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the University’s control. According to a statement signed by the University Registrar, Dr. Abubakar Mamuda, a new date for the Convocation Ceremony will be communicated in due course through the University’s official communication channels.
