Hemocompatible nucleosome-inspired heparin-mimicking hydrogel microspheres for safe and efficient extracorporeal removal of circulating histones in critically ill patients Circulating histones have been identified as essential mediators that lead to hyperinflammation, platelet aggregation, coagulation cascade activation, endothelial cell injury, multiple organ dysfunction, and death in severe patients with sepsis, multiple trauma, COVID-19, acute liver failure, and pancreatitis. Clinical...

Compared to [15], where the number of sensors is required to be equal to the number of unknown parameters, this paper achieves the online estimation of multiple parameters by utilizing a unique observation at the zero point, with the number of unknown parameters exceeding the number of sensors. Compared to the parabolic equation in [25], the reaction-diffusion equation investigated in this paper has an additional linear term, that is the reaction term.

AbstractTumor drug resistance emerges from the interaction of two critical factors: tumor cellular heterogeneity and the immunosuppressive nature of the tumor microenvironment (TME). Tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) constitute essential components of the TME. M2-like TAMs are essential in facilitating tumor metastasis as well as augmenting the drug resistance of tumors. This review encapsulates the mechanisms that M2-like TAMs use to promote tumor drug resistance.
