    Registration is now open for Reno Bike Project's Major Taylor Ride Club Summer Camp. The camp is filled with bike riding adventures and other activities for ages 13-17. It costs $50 per week for each child. Scholarships are available upon request. There are three different camps on July 8-12, July 15-19, and July 22-26. Each one will run from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. There will also be an "Earn-A-Bike" camp from July 29-August 2.

    The Reno Police Department says at 3:19 Saturday morning, first responders arrived at a crash involving a car and a motorcycle near the intersection of Ryland and High Streets. According to officials, the motorcycle rider died from their injuries at the scene. The person's identity has not yet been released. The other driver involved stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Reno Police say speed may have been a factor and they do not know if impairment was a factor.

    According to the Douglas County District Attorney, Edgar Julian Delgado pleaded guilty to first degree murder with a deadly weapon following a shooting that took place at the Hard Rock Hotel $ Casino in South Lake Tahoe. There were two charges of carrying a firearm, but as part of the plea, the second charge will be dropped. Delgado's sentencing will take place on June 13. He faces up to 50 years in prison.

    The Lyon County Sheriff's Office is holding a bingo night tonight. Doors open at 4 p.m. and bingo starts at 5 p.m.. It will be at the Mason Valley Boys and Girls Club at 124 N. Main St. in Yerington. There will also be a concession stand serving snacks, drinks, and more. All funds raised at the event will benefit LCSO's "Project Life Vest: Save a Child's Life".
