Detectives received a 911 call around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday morning and soon found the couple lying unresponsive in the lawn of a home on Treymore Court in Sarasota. According to the sheriff’s office, Anthony Evans, 89, and his wife, Lois Evans, 88, had both suffered a single gunshot wound.
