The warming begins tomorrow with highs in the mid to low 60s thanks to mostly sunny skies through Wednesday. An unsettled start to the work week as an upper trough in the Gulf of Alaska whips a few fronts through the PNW. A dry line moving through this afternoon will work as a lifting mechanism to kickstart a few thunderstorms in the Columbia Basin and Blue Mountain Foothills after 2 PM until 9 PM. Highs Tuesday will sit in the mid to upper 60s with lows tonight in the upper 30s and low 40s.

High pressure is slowly building into the region as we have some overhead divergence through the weekend. Warm and sunny Friday in the mid 60s with overnight lows in the mid to low 30s. Sunny skies will remain with calm conditions through Sunday as temps climb to the upper 60s and low 70s this weekend. Pollen counts remain very high so you might want some allergy medicine when heading to the Middleton Tulip Festival or the Dust Devil games this weekend.

Cooler temps and sunny skies arrive Friday through the weekend. Don't want to get anybody's hopes too high, but the end of next week could be feeling REALLY good. #wawx #orwx https://t.co/DWFOpJVFKI
