The aneurysms occurred in 2011 and 2013Emilia Clarke has admitted that it is “remarkable” she is still able to speak and live her life normally after suffering two brain aneurysms that have left “quite a bit” of her brain missing. The actress and Game of Thrones star had to undergo surgery after the aneurysms, which occur when a weakened blood vessel begins to bulge in the brain. If the blood vessel bursts it can cause a fatal internal bleed, known as a brain hemorrhage.

The seven Premier League clubs who voted against imposing a ban on loan deals between clubs with the same owners have been revealed. The vote, which took place on Tuesday, required at least a two thirds majority (14) for amended regulation to be adopted. 13 clubs voted in favour whereas seven voted against, meaning that clubs will be free to trade with clubs who fall under the same ownership.

A mum has split the internet in half after claiming that a supermarket worker made her clean up her own son’s vomit after he chucked up all over the self-checkout. The woman, who shared her story on social media, said that she was a checkout in Woolworths with her children when her two-year-old son suddenly felt sick and proceeded to vomit all over himself and the floor.

A little trunk full of books probably saved Kathy Kleiner’s life. It lay between the twin beds in room eight of the Chi Omega sorority house on the campus of Florida State University that she shared with her friend, Karen Chandler. A lamp sat awkwardly on top of it, alongside her glasses that she could barely see without. She’d taken them off around 10.30pm when the pair, tired from a day celebrating a friend’s wedding had decided to turn in.
