A Britain’s Got Talent star has revealed he has been given just 12 months to live after he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Baptist minister Allan Finnegan was one of the stars of the 2020 series of BGT, reaching the semi finals with his stand-up comedy act. Two years ago though, the 56-year-old began to have problems with his eyesight. After going to the doctors to get it checked, he was given the devastating news that he had tumours in both his eyes.

King Charles III diagnosed with form of cancer, Buckingham Palace announcesKing Charles III has been diagnosed with a form of cancer, Buckingham Palace has announced. In a statement, the palace said the King will begin “regular treatments” on Monday. Whilst it is not prostate cancer, it was discovered during the monarch’s recent treatment for an enlarged prostate.

Petition to scrap the licence fee charge reaches over 11,000 signaturesA petition calling for the licence fee to be scrapped has surpassed 11,000 signatures. Additionally, if you watch or stream live programming on any online TV streaming service, such as BBC iPlayer or Sky Go, you should be paying for your license. For the last two years the fee has been frozen at £159 a year, but from April this year it will rise to £169.50.

Brad Pitt confirmed to star in Quentin Tarantino’s final film ‘The Movie Critic’Brad Pitt has been confirmed to be starring in Quentin Tarantino’s final film The Movie Critic. It will be the third time the pair have worked together, with their previous collaborations in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Inglorious Basterds going down a treat with fans of the legendary director. Deadline reports that it’s not yet clear whether Pitt will take on the lead role, but that it seems likely he will.
