WPP-owned agency Burson has appointed Jonathan Hughes to take over the EMEA chief executive role from Scott Wilson, who will leave the agency by the end of 2025. Wilson, who was previously president of Europe and Africa for BCW, became EMEA CEO as part BCW’s merger with Hill & Kowlton in June last year to form Burson. He had first been appointed UK chief executive and managing director EMEA at BCW predecessor Cohn & Wolfe in 2010. Based in London, Hughes will join Burson in early June.
