Scooter’s Coffee, Buffalo Wild Wings Go, Jamba, Auntie Anne’s, and Cinnabon will all soon occupy a corner of the development. A new 8,700-square-foot building will house all five and include public seating and lounge areas on the second floor.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio — Officials from the Jefferson County Water and Sewer District have successfully lobbied county commissioners to approve a rate increase, citing a significant rise in operating costs. Mike Erosovich, who runs the district, explained that from 2021 to 2025, there was a 47 percent increase in operating costs, leading to a financial shortfall. In the last two years, county commissioners paid roughly $700,000 of the department's sewer loans payments.

The resolution was given to Gail Worrels, who tragically lost her son, Quentin, to gun violence approximately 12 years ago. Worrels announced she will be holding a prayer and candlelight vigil this Friday at 8 p.m. at Historic Fort Steuben. The event aims to honor and remember the lives lost due to gun violence.

BROOKE COUNTY, W.Va. — West Virginia residents are being warned about a new scam involving text messages that falsely claim recipients have unpaid tolls. The messages, which appear to be a final reminder from the West Virginia DMV, reference the West Virginia Administrative Code in an attempt to appear legitimate. "The code they are referencing is a 15C and it is not even listed in the code book so these are false claims," Brooke County Sheriff Richard Beatty said.
