2.2 Change in the Likelihood of Hot and Dry Extremes The investigation of changes in likelihood is based on analyzing the exceedance of thresholds. The threshold for dry extremes is less than equal to the 10th percentile of the reference period data (greater than equal to the 90th percentile of negative ).
