Before you wonder about how hectic my workload must be that I am writing about burnout during week three, let me explain myself. According to multiple recent studies done by the American College Health Association, 60-80% of college students face academic burnout, and to avoid this extremely common fate this semester, we should take proactive steps. Throughout college, I’ve experienced multiple burnouts — some that even 12 days of hibernation couldn’t fix.

In its introductory season in the Big Ten, USC men’s basketball has kept up so far despite struggling to find a rhythm on its home court during conference play. The Trojans (12-7, 4-4) have only won one Big Ten matchup on their home court, beating Iowa (13-7, 4-5) on Jan. 14. Every one of USC’s other conference bouts at Galen Center, except for its tilt with Oregon (16-4, 5-4), have been double-digit losses, telling of the team’s early-season struggles.

Once again, the end of the semester is here. I have just one more of this edition with my last semester coming up, but for now, I’m going to enjoy my ignorant bliss and type away to my heart’s content. While some might be fixating on what their Spotify Wrapped was for this past year, I know my dedicated readers — my grandma and Digital Managing Editor Nathan Elias — have been eagerly awaiting the signature edition of this column.
