(CBS12) — Palm Beach County Commissioners are considering a $2.7 million expansion of the Port St. Lucie Express Transit Pilot Program, aiming to add three new commuter-style buses. This transit program, which began in September, offers two morning and two evening trips from West Palm Beach to Port St. Lucie. Currently, the service operates with two buses, which are leased and funded through a grant from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).
