    Cleveland Clinic will begin requiring copay payments before or at the time of check-in for all scheduled office visits, diagnostic tests and procedures, the Clinic confirmed Tuesday. Appointments will be rescheduled or canceled for patients who can't make their copay. The policy will go into effect June 1. The change doesn’t apply to emergency care, surgeries, inpatient hospital stays, cancer treatments or patients with Medicaid.

    Ohio has seen two recent confirmed measles outbreaks in Ashtabula and Knox counties this year, leading public health officials and doctors to try to raise awareness about the disease and its vaccine. The 10 infected people in Ashtabula County all completed their isolation periods and are no longer considered contagious, the county health department said. The county has held a series of vaccination clinics, including one Monday at the Monroe Township Fire Department in Conneaut.

    A Warren woman is suing the city of Warren and the hospital where she sought treatment before and after she suffered a miscarriage. Attorneys for Brittany Watts filed the suit Friday, a year after a grand jury declined to indict her on abuse of a corpse charges stemming from a miscarriage she suffered in September. The suit alleges that police and St. Joseph Warren Hospital staff conspired against Watts to have her arrested following the miscarriage.
