Over 19,000 customers across Maine lost power on Sunday, as wind gusts reached up to 50 mph in some areas of the state during the afternoon. The majority of outages occurred in Aroostook, Penobscot and Somerset counties, but there were 443 reported in Cumberland County, all in Yarmouth and North Yarmouth. As of 4:26 p.m., Versant Power reported 13,268 customers without power. Penobscot County was most impacted, with 4,902 customers without electricity.
