(NEXSTAR/STORYFUL) — Lightning flashed behind the Eiffel Tower as thunderstorms swept across the city Thursday, causing disruption to Olympic games. Footage posted to Instagram by @valentin__b shows stormy conditions and crowds of people around the famous landmark. They told Storyful they were leaving a volleyball game when they filmed the video. According to Le Parisien, the thunderstorms interrupted a 3×3 basketball game between France and Serbia, as well as the China-USA beach volleyball game.
