    T.J. Crumble is three-fourths of the way to being a part of Ohio high school basketball history. Crumble and his teammates at Cleveland Heights Lutheran East won the school's third straight state championship in March. Crumble has been a member of three straight state championship teams, although he was at Richmond Heights as a sophomore in 2023-24. Due to an OHSAA transfer rule (and a court ruling), Crumble was ineligible for the last half of that season and the tournament.

    Good things come to those who wait, and that was certainly true for Ohio State offensive lineman Luke Montgomery in 2024. The 6-5, 308-pound Montgomery was recruited as the highest ranked offensive lineman in OSU's 2023 recruiting class at No. 120 overall and the nation's No. 5 interior offensive lineman. He saw action in eight games that season as a true freshman, working as the sixth offensive lineman in some sets. It was expected that Montgomery would compete for a starting job in 2024.
