Insurance experts are speaking out against a Palm Beach Gardens-based ratings company’s report that says Citizens Insurance has the lowest rate of paying claims statewide. Citizens Insurance reports it denied over half of the 17,000 claims filed in 2023, and insurance experts say this year is on pace to be a similar rate for claims denied. However, insurance experts say this is not unexpected or anything to be alarmed about.
