There was sporting success for England's cricketers when they visited Bristol on Sunday however. World-famous show War Horse has cantered into the Hippodrome just as another big production finishes at Bristol Old Vic.

    Two further people have been arrested as part of an ongoing attempted murder investigation involving a car allegedly being deliberately driven at people on bicycles. Avon and Somerset Police detectives are investigating two collisions in the Hartcliffe area of Bristol on 29 May, and believe the incidents are linked. A total of seven people have now been arrested as part of the investigation.
