All animal experiments and study protocols were approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee of Knotus Co., Ltd. (Guri, Korea; approval no. KNOTUS IACUC 16-KE-121). Ten approximately 1-year-old healthy male beagles without periodontal disease were obtained from Xi’an Dilepu Biology & Medicine Co., Ltd. (Lianhu, China). None of the beagles were administered any systemic medications before starting the experiments.

The KOSMOS-II trial comprises a framework for screening patients with actionable targets, operating a cMTB that recommends and provides MGT, and developing a clinico-genomic database (CGDB). MGT options include TUID with targeted and/or immunotherapies (Tier 1); local practice involving therapy within or outside the approved indications (Tier 2); or participation in clinical trials (Tier 3) (Fig. 1). 1. IntroductionThe COVID-19 pandemic, which lasted for more than three years, was ended by the World Health Organization on 5 May 2023. Nevertheless, healthcare providers must be prepared to care for emerging infectious diseases like COVID-19. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it was found that older adults were vulnerable to emerging respiratory infectious diseases. The mortality rate in the ages of 80 years and above is very high (58.89%), with a fatality rate of 2.68% [1].

This was an open-label phase 1b/2 multicenter study (ClinicalTrials.gov; NCT02599324) conducted between December 2015 and March 2020, to determine the recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D) of ibrutinib combined with everolimus in RCC, docetaxel in GC, and cetuximab in CRC for previously treated patients. The data cutoff date for this analysis was 19 April 2021. The phase 1b study followed a 3 + 3 + 3 design in each cohort to evaluate dose-limiting toxicities (DLTs) and determine the RP2D.
