The ball and banquet is planned for August 2, 2025 but the young ladies have been and are in the process of doing, seeing, and experiencing a whole lot of exciting events on the journey there. “The Glimpse of Our Future” journey kicked off with a Mother-Daughter Tea in January 2025 at the Blaque Butterfly.

The sentence was the result of a hearing held during a criminal court session in the Putnam County Courtroom under the jurisdiction of Judge Stephen Bradley.

    Judge Terry Massey issued a ruling April 25 in Holy Nation Church’s civil hearing reviewed last Tuesday in Jasper County Superior Court. The hearing stemmed from a September 2024 incident in which one of the plaintiffs in the hearing were issued a criminal trespass warrant for visiting the church location. Current church leaders filed the warrant.

    By SUSAN JACOBSDistrict Attorney (DA) T. Wright Barksdale appeared in Jasper Superior Court Tuesday morning for a pre-trial hearing in the criminal case of Matthew Boring, indicted on five counts from a December 2022 vehicular homicide case. The criminal case has been continued several times over the course of two and a half years. The DA said the state is ready to go to court while Attorneys Melinda Johnson and Bryan Frost for the defendant requested another continuance of Judge Stephen Bradley.
