NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — It may take the wisdom of Solomon to resolve a serious soap opera in the French Quarter. A bubble machine has divided a bar owner and a homeowner on opposite sides of St. Philip Street. Joel Moody, the owner of MRB bar, uses a bubble machine on his second-floor balcony to catch the eye of passing customers. Burt Benrud, the owner of a home directly across the street from the bar, says that when the bubbles land, they damage the paint on his Porsche and his house.
