Children’s favourite Bluey welcomed families to Corwen station during a special event on Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8. The popular pup delighted little ones (and grown-ups!) by waving and excitedly jumping. Llangollen Railway, a Heritage Railway Line running between Llangollen, following the River Dee through the Dee Valley for 10 miles, to Corwen, ran the event in partnership Fox & Edwards Events.

Tanja Durrant, 54, who paints under the name of Gigsketch Art, grew up in North Wales and was inspired by The Alarm as a teenager. She first saw the band perform while supporting U2 at Cardiff Arms Park in the 1980s - the first-ever gig that she travelled to at the age of 16. The experience left a lasting impression on her as a young Welsh music fan.

The full-scale replica of a 17th-century Spanish galleon - used by the Spanish between the 16th and 18th centuries during maritime expeditions of discovery and inter-oceanic trade between Spain, the Americas, and the Philippines as part of the famed fleets of the Indies - will be in Caernarfon until June 8. While it is in the vicinity, visitors can step aboard, explore its decks, and talk to crew members.

It was taken out of special measures after five years in November 2020. It then re-entered special measures on February 27 2023 where it remains.

Current sewage pollution alerts (Image: Safer Seas & Rivers Service) PEOPLE have been urged not to go into the water at beaches in Llandudno, Abergele Pensarn and Rhyl. Marine conservation charity Surfers Against Sewage issued a pollution alert for several locations across North Wales that had experienced sewage discharged in the past 48 hours.
