    EDISON – Two township men have been arrested following a months-long narcotics investigation. Tyir Pugh, 42, and Deshaun Stephens, 18, were arrested and charged with possession of controlled dangerous substances (CDS) with the intent to distribute, multiple counts of possession of CDS, unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of a ghost gun, possession of high-capacity magazines, and possession of a firearm while committing a CDS offense, police said.

    Route 1 lanes in both directions between Townsley Street in Edison and the Garden State Parkway in Woodbridge will be closed during the daytime beginning this week for the start of a paving project.
