    FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - The Fargo Target was evacuated twice in just over an hour early Friday evening. Just after 4:30 p.m. Friday, the fire alarm went off at the Fargo Target and caused the store to be evacuated. After about 15 minutes, people were allowed back inside to finish their shopping. A short time after, just before 5:30 p.m., a second fire alarm went off and caused the store to once again be evacuated. The store was evacuated for just over 10 minutes.

    WEST FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Some of you have shared your concerns on social media. On social media, Valley News Live has seen several posts with concerns over “Door Checkers.” They’re going around to see if your car door is unlocked, and if there is anything to steal. Those with the West Fargo Police Department say there is no need to be concerned. But, they do see an uptick with these types of crimes during the spring and summer.

    FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) -It’s been nearly a week since Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband were shot and killed. We’ve since learned that the alleged shooter, Vance Boelter, had a long list of home addresses for potential victims that he found online. The alleged shooter’s list had a number of websites where he could find lawmakers’ addresses. He went to four homes before the manhunt to take him into custody began.

It was an event for all ages and one that marked a special milestone for the Fargo Police Department. This year, they’re celebrating 150 years of service.
