Christine Nicole Ferris was about 12 years old when she saw the antique book at a flea market. It was called, “Lad: A Dog,” by Albert Payson Terhune. “I started to read it and it captured me,” she remembered. By then, she already had a K-9 leadership training business, called Trustee Training Services.
