A family in Hominy is seeking answers after their dog, Burford, was allegedly taken from their backyard and shot multiple times. Desirae Hill and her family are demanding to know who is responsible for the attack that occurred Tuesday afternoon near the 200 block of North Kay Avenue. "I looked outside and saw him on his cable. He was running around having fun, and I told her to go out there and feed him. That's one of her daily chores," said Hill.

A woman tells News Channel 8 she was shot three times by who she says is her ex-boyfriend and is still on the run. Now, she and her family are advocating for harsher punishments for abusers. Rachae Parker has been in the hospital recovering since Saturday after she said her ex-boyfriend shot her. She said her ex-boyfriend has been abusive and has filed many police reports against him over 10 years. Now she wants law enforcement to put him away for good.

Some downtown businesses say they're concerned about the increase in the number of teenagers hanging out at night during the weekends. "The kids are the problem," a downtown bar employee said. The bar employee, who wants to remain anonymous, said they're seeing issues with teenagers from 14- to 17-year-olds. "These youth are hanging in the parking lot trying to be cool to get in with the older crowd," he said.

This weekend was 104 years since the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre; many descendants and the last two survivors are still on the pursuit for reparations. Last November, the City of Tulsa voted for its first black mayor, Monroe Nichols, and since he's made June 1st a city-wide holiday for a day of remembrance. Sunday afternoon he announced plans for restorative justice for descendants. For Wesley Butler, he hasn't been in Tulsa since he was 11 years old and now, he's almost 70.
