The atmospheric refractive index structure constant ($C_n^2$) was measured in a coastal region using a shipborne three-dimensional ultrasonic anemometer and a micro-thermometer. The results showed that the $C_n^2$ measurements from both instruments were generally consistent but deviated in some cases, especially as the wind speed increased.

In this work, a record output power of 4.6 kW linearly polarized and narrow-linewidth fiber amplifier based on an optimized fiber oscillator laser (FOL) seed was realized by employing a homemade polarization-maintaining Yb-doped fiber (PMYDF), corresponding to a slope efficiency of 79.5% and a 3 dB linewidth of 0.3452 nm.

AbstractThe genomic instability (GI) /homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) score, calculated as the sum of the events of loss of heterozygosity (LOH), large-scale state transition (LST) and telomere allele imbalance (TAI), is used to guide the choice of treatment in several cancers, but its relationship with genomic features, clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis in lung cancer is poorly understood, which could lead to population bias in prospective studies.

3. Materials and Methods 3.1. Cation Exchange MembranesThree representative commercial CEMs with different microstructures are investigated in this work. The CSE membrane (Astom Co., Tokyo, Japan) is a standard homogeneous CEM used for desalination. Nafion117 is a representative perfluorosulfonic acid membrane from Chemours, America. A heterogeneous membrane, 3361BW (Shanghai Shanghua Water Treatment Material Co., Shanghai, China), is also investigated.
