High sensitivity terahertz sensor based on semiconductor material for biosensing detection We propose a tri-band metamaterial sensor operating in the terahertz range, structured with a semiconductor-dielectric-semiconductor configuration. Tri-band resonance is produced by this structure at 4.216 THz, 5.210 THz, and 5.770 THz.The physical mechanism underlying these absorption peaks is elucidated through impedance matching theory.

1. IntroductionAircraft icing results in a decrease in aerodynamic performance, characterized by a reduction in lift, an increase in drag, a decrease in the stall angle, and an increase in aerodynamic nonlinearity under the same flight conditions [1,2,3]. Changes in the aircraft’s aerodynamic characteristics cause deviations from the original flight control design point, leading to a decline in maneuverability and stability, which significantly affects flight safety.

AbstractPhoto-oxidation of methane (CH4) using hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) synthesized in situ from air and water under sunlight offers an attractive route for producing green methanol while storing intermittent solar energy. However, in commonly used aqueous-phase systems, photocatalysis efficiency is severely limited due to the ultralow availability of CH4 gas and H2O2 intermediate at the flooded interface.
