AbstractHeterogeneity in transporting interfaces and perovskites poses a substantial challenge in improving the efficiency of perovskite solar cells from small to large scales, a key barrier to their commercial use. Here we find that the amorphous phases of self-assembling molecules (SAMs) can realize a more homogeneous perovskite growth.

AbstractMost C–H bond activations of natural gas alkanes rely on transition metal complexes. Activations by using main-group systems have been reported but required heating or photo-irradiation under high atmospheric pressure with rather low regioselectivity. Here we report that Lewis acid-carbene adducts facilely undergo oxidative additions to C–H bonds of ethane, propane and n-butane with high selectivity under room temperature and atmospheric pressure.

Multifunctional Si3N4 nanobrick metasurface for sensing A metasurface composed of Si3N4 with a lower refractive index can result in more electromagnetic energy leaking into the surrounding environment compared with other dielectric materials, which is beneficial for sensing applications. However, the research on Si3N4 metasurfaces in the sensing field remains relatively scarce to date.
