A very funny new Irish language short film based on the 2004 comedy classic Mean Girls is going viral following its release earlier this month. Titled Cailíní Gránna (Mean Girls in Irish), the film was produced by Mumbro Top and reimagines the Tina Fey-scripted comedy through “Irishfied characters and localised pop culture moments”.

Apparently, it’s the most depressing day of the year but this just isn’t true, infact how it got the title is much stranger. The title was given to the third Monday of every January by UK travel company Sky Travel in 2005. In a press release issued by the company, they claimed that this day was somehow the worst of the entire year thanks to their special equation.
