HENDERSON, Nev. - Despite having one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL last season, the Las Vegas Raiders opted against making a significant investment in the position group this offseason. Though they signed free-agent veteran guard Alex Cappa and drafted offensive tackle Charles Grant and guard Caleb Rogers in the third round, Cappa is the only one expected to play a significant role in 2025.

HENDERSON, Nev. - The Las Vegas Raiders hit reset at safety this offseason. Tre'von Moehrig and Marcus Epps were the intended starters in 2023 and 2024 and played well together, but both players were allowed to depart in free agency. For Epps, it largely came down to injury, as he tore his ACL just three games into last season. Moehrig, though, was coming off the best season of his career.

HENDERSON, Nev. - This offseason began with a holdout for Las Vegas Raiders left tackle Kolton Miller. When report day for voluntary OTAs arrived in April, he wasn't there. He wanted a new contract, according to team sources. Miller is entering the final year of his deal and is set to make just over $12.2 million this season, which ranks 11th among NFL left tackles according to Spotrac.

HENDERSON, Nev. - Patrick Graham was a free agent this offseason. In a rare situation for a coach, the Las Vegas Raiders' defensive coordinator passed on an extension in 2024 and allowed his contract to expire. Graham has aspirations of becoming a head coach one day, but he was also leaving the door open to taking a defensive coordinator position elsewhere in case things didn't work out with the Raiders.

There's no denying Pete Carroll's 14-year tenure with the Seattle Seahawks was wildly successful. But like any head coach, he had his faults that drew the ire of the fan base. One of his most criticized traits was his tendency to play conservatively. In the modern era, as analytics have become a bigger part of teams' decision-making processes, they've gotten more pass-happy and aggressive in their fourth-down decision-making. The Seahawks, however, often lagged behind.

Thayer Munford has been getting work at LG in Parham's absence. He played OT his first two years with the #Raiders, but played G in college.

In addition to #Raiders DT Christian Wilkins, G Dylan Parham and WR Alex Bachman aren't practicing today. They're here but don't have helmets on.
