    POCATELLO — Area youth and members of the Junior Jazz program were treated to an exciting meet-and-greet Wednesday morning with Utah Jazz player Oscar Tshiebwe. Donning their favorite basketball attire and sneakers, over 50 local youth assembled at Irving Middle School where they participated in an entertaining basketball clinic, question and answer session and had the opportunity to get autographs and photos with Utah Jazz center Oscar Tshiebwe.

    POCATELLO — A celebration exploring the cultures of over 27 countries through traditional food, dances, music, clothes and games will be held on World Refugee Day Friday in downtown Pocatello. The multicultural event is free of charge and will run from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Lookout Point in Historic Downtown Pocatello.

    POCATELLO — Joining millions of other demonstrators across the United States on Saturday, over 1,000 people attended the “No Kings” protest in Pocatello to voice opposition against recent policies from Donald Trump and in defense of constitutional democracy. Following several other local demonstrations over the past few months, Saturday’s “No Kings” protest was one the largest ever to be held in the Gate City.
