CHARLOTTE (PINPOINT WEATHER) — We’re comfortable and clear this Friday morning with temperatures settled in the 50s and 60s from our mountain counties into uptown. Winds are light to start flowing out of the southwest but will pick up later in the day. Highs will make a run for the mid-80s yet again, which will land well above normal for this time of year. Partly cloudy skies will mix in with sunshine before isolated showers and storms develop during the peak heating hours of the day.

(PINPOINT WEATHER) — Cool and comfortable conditions linger this Thursday morning as the 80s leak into the second half of the work week. We’ll see winds pick up ahead of the weekend, as well as ahead of increased rain chances for Saturday. We’re starting this Thursday in the 60s as winds continue to flow out of the south-southwest between 5 and 10 miles per hour. Look for today to host a good mix of sun and clouds as highs aim for the mid-80s during the peak heating hours of the day.

CHARLOTTE (PINPOINT WEATHER) — We have another cool and comfortable start with 50s and upper 40s locked in across the Carolinas. Winds are light with temperatures far enough from the dewpoints for fog not to be a major issue. We’ll see clouds increase gradually throughout the day as highs make a run for the low 80s this Tuesday afternoon. Winds will continue to flow out of the southwest between 3 and 8 miles per hour, with moisture increasing through mid-week.
