The Caldwell Night Rodeo has a new general manager at the helm. Nicole Cassity, who has been a longtime member of CNR leadership, will take the mantle, the rodeo announced in a Thursday news release. Cassity takes over for Gene Betts, who retired in December after holding the general manager position for over 40 years. Cassity had been the CNR’s Director of Marketing & Sales for over seven years.

For the second time in less than a week, the Tesla dealership in Meridian has been at the center of discontent. According to the Meridian Police Department, the dealership located at 2554 W Franklin Road, was vandalized between 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday.

NAMPA — A Nampa school bus was hit by a pickup truck during a slick Monday morning commute in the Treasure Valley, injuring two students and the bus driver. According to a spokesperson from the Nampa School District, the crash happened at around 7:20 p.m. when one of the district’s buses carrying special education students was hit. Nampa police said the incident happened at the intersection of 8th Avenue S and 2nd Street S near downtown.
